National Junior Honor Society

 

Throughout the year, students partake in activities such as a clothing drive, a book drive, collecting Box Tops for Education, a holiday/toy drive, two fundraisers, competing for awards and scholarships, creating decorations for the eighth grade dance, helping with the school food drive, and many more school related activities.

Students create spirit day posters, make-a-wish letters, and cards for veterans/nursing home patients.

 

Your student must have high honor roll ( above 90 GPA, not including gym) for 3 quarters of 6th grade and 1st,2nd and third quarters of 7th grade

10 hours of community service completed from the start of 6th grade until packet is submitted

Potential candidates will receive an informational letter in March

Final candidates will receive a candidate packet after 3rd quarter grades are received in late April

Included in the packet are essays and questions to be answered, proof of community service, awards and club/ sports attendance

Our induction ceremony is in Early June.
