The Middle Country Central School District has appointed Mr. Merenda as Principal of Selden Middle School. With over a decade in Education, Mr. Merenda began his career in New York City. Throughout his tenure as an educator, he has held various roles, including Teacher, Dean, and Assistant Principal. Mr. Merenda joined the Middle Country School District in 2023, where he spent two years as an Assistant Principal at Newfield High School. Mr. Merenda earned his bachelor's degree from CUNY York College and holds two master's degrees in Educational Leadership and School Building Administration.
